Hi! My name is Benoît Choffin and this is my webpage.

I’m a data scientist at Cardiologs, a French healthtech company. I am always passionate about applying machine learning to meaningful and challenging projects. I was previously the lead data scientist of the French EdTech start-up EvidenceB, where I developed machine learning algorithms to improve student learning. I defended my PhD thesis in Computer Science in January 2021 at Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire des Sciences du Numérique (LISN), University of Paris-Saclay in France. During my PhD, I investigated and built adaptive spacing algorithms - algorithms that personalize what and when learners review to optimize their long-term memory retention.
